The answer all depends on a number of things.<br>
* What is your skill background, i.e. are you a developer & how much time<br>
you want to spend.<br>
* What you count as a "wheelchair accessible route", do you just want no<br>
stairs or do you want details such as drop-kerbs when crossing roads?<br>
* If you want to get the routes as one-off results, or you want an<br>
interface for people to request routes.<br>
* What format you want the routes in, do you just want to display them or<br>
do you need them to do some further analysis on?<br>

The OSM API will just give you the raw data to use yourself. It would be<br>
better for you to start by reading the Routing wiki page and work from<br>
existing software or there are even APIs that will provide you with a route<br>
between given points.<br>

see what has been mapped and with what tags(attributes). Also, you can add<br>
additional information you survey by using the same tags that are used<br>
