Hi,<br><br>I have checked out and built the latest svn sources for mod_tile and mapnik. I also have the latest svn rendering/mapnik/osm.xml (properly configured).<br><br>However on starting renderd I always get the same exception being reported from the osm.xml file parse:<br>
<br>config 0: name(Default) file(/export/home/jburns/osm/applications/rendering/mapnik/osm.xml)<br><br clear="all">conversion of data into type 'float' failed from type std::locale in LineSymbolizer in style 'highway-area-casing'<br>
<br>(The "type std::locale" is my own debugging output.)<br><br>The offending line in osm.xml is:<br>CssParameter name="stroke-width">1</CssParameter><br><br>I've tried various formats for "1", including 1.0, 1.000, etc, but the exception remains.<br>
<br>My knowledge of what happens deep inside mapnik is very sketchy, but I am puzzled as to why the typeid comes back as "std::locale", and at this stage I'm stumped.<br><br>Anyone got any ideas? My platform is opensolaris 2008.11, (boost 1.35)<br>
