I'm going to listen/voice in on the child care tag conversation (will keep people posted) but I really like the idea of including such tags in the editor presets. Anyone know how such decisions are made with iD editor? Is it a conversation with Tom/MapBox or is it a community discussion?</div>
</div></blockquote><div><br></div><div style>So far the decisions on what presets to include in iD have all been based on poking around on the map and seeing what doesn't yet have a preset, and looking things up on the wiki and taginfo. For newer tags, I expect we'll operate based on a combination of community consensus and the initiative of people submitting pull requests -- which are likely to be highly influential! :)</div>
<div style><br></div><div style>We've tried to make it pretty easy to contribute presets to iD. It's a simple JSON format that's described <a href="https://github.com/systemed/iD/blob/master/data/presets/README.md">here</a>, every preset has its own file, and looking at the existing presets should be a good guide. Let me know if you have any questions. Or if the conversation reaches a consensus, give me a heads up and I will see about implementing it myself.</div>
