<div><br></div><div>Preliminary results show a <b>massive</b> difference.</div><div><br></div><div>We set up 3 groups of 5 kids each, elementary through high school, to map an 8 square block section of a rural town in the highlands of Nicaragua. The groups consisted of boys, teenage girls, and younger "tween" girls. The results were astounding and showed only about 20-25% in overlapping points of reference. Boys tended to map the pool halls, bars and generally male hangouts, while the girls were big on mapping the beauty salons and stores. Interestingly, the young girls mapped the most points and provided more detail than the older girls.</div>
<div><br></div><div>I am still working with the group remotely and will continue this project for the next year. </div><div><br></div><div>It's great to see these results which fully support the points you brought up in your talk. I'll keep you posted on developments.</div>
