<div dir="ltr">Thanks! There was indeed great conversation about this. I will forward some of my takeaways in the coming days along with related work. Need to do one more push at the local job and then looking forward to sleeping and writing (and mapping the typhoon effected areas!) <div>

While you're at the conference, I'd be interested in knowing the role of education & outreach play in diversity efforts. They're obviously linked, but I'd like to know what strategies and tactics work, what can we implement, and what sorts of resources we need. <br>

<div><br></div><div>I write on my way to Berlin! for Wikipedia's first Diversity Conference. I will be there looking to learn, and share and bring back lessons and observations. I'm helping to facilitate a workshop and present a talk. Hopefully others from OSM will be there as well (?) and we can put together thoughts etc in a way that's valuable to the larger community. I will try to write up notes from each days sessions and tweet etc. I think there are more ways the conference organizers are helping to facilitate a conversation with others who may be interested, but not be present ...so I'll send that along as I find them. </div>
<div><br></div><div>Anyway, I wanted to say hello and let you all know what's been going on on my end. I hope everyone is well! </div><div><br></div><div>Best,</div><div>Alyssa. </div>
