Hi, just sharing few toughts, </div>
<div style="color: rgb(34, 34, 34); font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: small;">
since we talk here on "diversity", this might also bring the issue of "inequality".</div>
<div style="color: rgb(34, 34, 34); font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: small;">
These are similar terms, somehow conected to each other, but different concepts.</div>
<div style="color: rgb(34, 34, 34); font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: small;">
Both terms refer to the idea of "difference", "not equal". Both terms bring the idea of "inclusion." </div>
<div style="color: rgb(34, 34, 34); font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: small;">
<br>
</div>
<div style="color: rgb(34, 34, 34); font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: small;">
"Diversity" usually refers to "the political and social policy of encouraging tolerance for people of different backgrounds"<br>
</div>
<div style="color: rgb(34, 34, 34); font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: small;">
(<a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diversity#Sociology,_politics_and_law" target="_blank" style="color: rgb(17, 85, 204);" id="LPlnk840904" previewremoved="true">https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki<wbr>/Diversity#Sociology,_politics<wbr>_and_law</a>).</div>
<div style="color: rgb(34, 34, 34); font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: small;">
<br>
</div>
<div style="color: rgb(34, 34, 34); font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: small;">
<div>Essentially, people are diverse, in any scale of groups: familiar, local, professional, national, global. And that's essentially good. <br>
</div>
<div>There's a diversity of knowledges people can contribute to the community where they are included. </div>
</div>
<div style="color: rgb(34, 34, 34); font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: small;">
<br>
</div>
<div style="color: rgb(34, 34, 34); font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: small;">
The meaning of "inequality" takes a slightly different aproach. Usually it refers nowadays to economic aspects.</div>
<div style="color: rgb(34, 34, 34); font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: small;">
<br>
</div>
<div style="color: rgb(34, 34, 34); font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: small;">
"Economic inequality is the difference found in various measures of economic well-being among individuals in a group, among groups in a population, or among countries." (<a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Economic_inequality" target="_blank" style="color: rgb(17, 85, 204);" id="LPlnk785897" previewremoved="true">https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki<wbr>/Economic_inequality</a>).</div>
<br>
<div style="color: rgb(34, 34, 34); font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: small;">
</div>
<div style="color: rgb(34, 34, 34); font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: small;">
<div>We realize that people are very different, not in terms of their essence, but in terms of their existences, that is, the material conditions for their existences, and that's not good.</div>
<div>Inequality has been increasing world around in recent years. It may be a barrier against a healty diversity.</div>
<div>
<div>
<div>Great levels of economic inequality bring many pernicious efects, such as ignorance, radicalism, hostilities to differents, many sorts of political tensions.</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>We can see recent reports and statistics made even by liberal organizations, such as Oxfam, Credite Suisse, pointing out that there is a growing gap due to economic inequality, showing all the negative consequences of that, and that there should be an
 active effort to mitigate such great inequality:<br>
