<b>direction</b><br>
"Provides an initial compass direction of travel to favor when
generating the route. <br>
<br>
If the <code>direction < 0</code>, then no direction is
favored. <br>
<br>
If the <code>direction >= 0</code>, then the calculated route
will attempt to follow the given direction at the beginning of the
route. <br>

This is useful for real-time GPS guided applications in which the
user is already traveling in a certain direction and would like to
ensure that the returned route starts heading in a similar
direction."<br>

Hi Peter,<br>
<br>
I would like to ask if it's possible to include the vehicle
bearing (as taken from gps) at the routing calculations?<br>
<br>
Let me give an example of the problem which is important for
mobile routing.<br>
Let's assume that we are with a car in a 2-way road facing right
and we want to perform routing with 'start' our position and 'end'
a point far behind (left) on the road.<br>
Now GH (as it is a 2-way road) indicates a straight path
connecting the 2 points, i.e. in reality to turn around.<br>
<br>
That may be possible with bike or foot, but we're using a car, we
cannot simply turn around.<br>
The logical path would seem to move forward till the next turn in
order to be able to go back at your destination.<br>
<br>
So is it somehow possible to use also the car bearing at our
calculations?<br>
