<div dir="ltr"><div dir="ltr"><div dir="ltr"><div dir="ltr">Hi Todd - <div><br></div><div>Great question and great time to ask it! I agree that not having this live is a major roadblock to project success,</div><div><br></div><div>First, development work is continuing to make the timeslider more usable & more integrated with the site. </div><div>You can see the current version of the slider, integrated on the backend with OHM here:<br><a href="https://openhistoricalmap.github.io/openhistoricaltiles/datefilter/#14.64/40.80623/-73.91894/1913-01-01,1933-12-31/">https://openhistoricalmap.github.io/openhistoricaltiles/datefilter/#14.64/40.80623/-73.91894/1913-01-01,1933-12-31/</a><br></div><div><br></div><div>Unfortunately for impatient people like me, getting this into production involves a fair amount of dev work, including getting the OHM stack up to speed with the current OSM codebase. In addition, there's a different path to explore for time-enabling low-zoom level info (state, country borders), and some mods to ID to encourage entry of date info. So, we're busy working on all that right now. </div><div><br></div><div>More important, you (and Bert & Rob) have pointed out that we haven't been talking enough about what's going on. So, we need to do a better job with that, and I hope to have a blog post up soon as well as establishing a quick bi-weekly update call.</div><div><br></div><div>In the near future, I expect we'll have a URL for a more integrated prototype available for your review & will encourage feedback through <a href="https://github.com/OpenHistoricalMap/ohm-website/issues">https://github.com/OpenHistoricalMap/ohm-website/issues</a>.</div><div><br></div><div>That all said... ask any questions you may have!</div><div><br></div><div>Thanks,</div><div>Jeff</div><div><br></div><div><br></div></div></div><br><div class="gmail_quote"><div dir="ltr" class="gmail_attr">On Thu, Mar 14, 2019 at 8:10 AM <a href="mailto:todd.d.robbins@gmail.com">todd.d.robbins@gmail.com</a> <<a href="mailto:todd.d.robbins@gmail.com">todd.d.robbins@gmail.com</a>> wrote:<br></div><blockquote class="gmail_quote" style="margin:0px 0px 0px 0.8ex;border-left:1px solid rgb(204,204,204);padding-left:1ex"><div dir="ltr">What ever happened to work on the date slider?
