Oh, that's very nice of you :-) You are very welcome!

A little bugreport: http://openhistoricalmap.org/ is an empty page. It
should redirect to https://openhistoricalmap.org/

Apropos OpenStreetBrowser:

I set up an extra instance of OpenStreetBrowser for OHM:
https://www.openstreetbrowser.org/historical/

It uses the default OHM background and the OHM Overpass API.
In fact, it just symlinks to the normal code, only the config file is
different. So it will receive all updates to the code like the main OSB
instance.

The categories should be newly written - they are not useful as they are
right now. What do you think, what kind of categories would be useful?

What works is the places category:
https://openstreetbrowser.org/historical/#map=14/48.2142/16.3752&categories=places

You could do this yourself, check this out:
https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/OpenStreetBrowser/Howto_Categories

greetings,
Stephan
