[HOT] ushahidi + OSM + geocoder

Hi all,


Fredy Rivera, a fellow OSM from Colombia, needs a little help setting up an 
ushahidi instance at http://eleccionestransparentes.com/

So far, the basic set-up is done and there are reports already. The problem is 
with the geocoder in the "report incident" page: If GMaps is used as the base 
layer, the geocoder works. If OSM is used as the base layer, the geocoder 
doesn't work.


The question is: how to make the geocoder work while maintaining OSM as the 
base layer? AFAIK, Ushahidi automagically manages layer configuration, so I 
guess some hocus-pocus is involved.


Fredy recalls that the Haiti ushahidi instance worked allright with the OSM 
base layer and the GMaps geocoder. If someone can point him to somebody 
involved in that set-up, that'd be very helpful.
