All,<div><br></div><div>The Humanitarian Information Unit (HIU) of the U.S. Department of State has recently released an updated copy of the high-resolution international boundaries. Called the Large-Scale International Boundaries (LSIB), the dataset can be downloaded from the HIU website at:</div>
<div><br></div><div><a href="https://hiu.state.gov/data/data.aspx">https://hiu.state.gov/data/data.aspx</a></div><div><br></div><div>The metadata associated with the files describes the data, and how disputed borders are encoded. Additionally, there is some guidance about how disputed borders should be represented cartographically (at least on USG maps). It should be noted that these boundaries are the official USG boundaries and may not line up with interior Admin 1 boundaries from other sources. </div>
