Hi,

An OrbView-3 satellite image, from GeoEye, among those recently
released to the public domain by USGS, panchromatic (black and
white)
with a 1 m resolution, is available. It covers an area south west
of
Homs, part of which is not covered by high resolution Bing. It is
cloudless.

It was georeferenced using GPS tracks where available, and
existing
OSM data elsewhere (which itself had apparently been traced from
Bing). (Before this, it had an apparent offset of about 80 m).
