 the army's special forces have launched an attack against some 
opposition warlord in Khorog, the capital of Gorno Badakshan Autonomous 
Region (<a href="http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-18965366" target="_blank">http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-18965366</a>).<br>
<br>The situation is highly unclear, as the communication lines to 
Khorog have been cut, but informal reports account for something between
 20 and 200 killed people so far (<a href="http://en.ca-news.org/news:509321/" target="_blank">http://en.ca-news.org/news:509321/</a>)<br>
