I think tha a polygon should be trace around all the zone with the tag flood_prone=yes, plus identify the more permanent ponds. I mapped rapidly inside Bassikounou and have mapped a few of the flood_prone areas as an example.<br><br>The film about the water well operation is interesting wit the cattles operating around the well. For Mali activation we were able to spot such wells by observing odd looking "fans" around them in the aerial imagery made by the cattles circulation.<br><br>See discussion for Mali

Bassikounou, Mauritania - ICRC request<br> </font> </div> <div class="y_msg_container"><br><div id="yiv9132067955"><div dir="ltr">Hi,<div><br></div><div>ICRC requested us to map an AOI (Area Of Interest) around Bassikounou, a town close to the border with Mali, for a development project about drinkable water.
