I'm just updating part of LearnOSM
(<a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="http://learnosm.org/en/coordination/remote-tracing/">http://learnosm.org/en/coordination/remote-tracing/</a>), and need to
clarify which is the correct tag for a stream, river or other
feature that is only present for part of the year. My initial
understanding was:<br>
seasonal=yes as per <a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Key:seasonal">http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Key:seasonal</a><br>
<br>
But I started altering this a little while ago due to a conversation
on this mailing list, and was using<br>
intermittent=yes as per
<a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Key:intermittent">http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Key:intermittent</a><br>
<br>
However, Highway Tag Africa
<a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Highway_Tag_Africa#Seasonal_roads">http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Highway_Tag_Africa#Seasonal_roads</a>
goes with seasonal=yes<br>

I don't mind which we go with, but it would be good if we advocated
the same one, although I'm sure software writers, GIS experts and
map makers can easily cater for either tag.<br>
