Hi all,<br>
<br>
I forward this mail from Goethe University Frankfurt (DE), they are
currently conducting a survey about HOT. It´s not limited to
Germany. Maybe the results are of use for some of our working
groups?<br>

<p>Hi Katja Ulbert,</p>
<p><a href="http://www.openstreetmap.org/user/HOT%20Student%20Survey%20Goethe-University%20Frankfurt" target="_blank">HOT
Student Survey Goethe-University Frankfurt</a> has sent you a
message through OpenStreetMap with the subject Student Survey
Humanitarian OpenStreetMap Team Goethe-University Frankfurt:</p>
==
<p>Hello Katja Ulbert,</p>
<p>we are a group of students at the Department of Human Geography
at the Goethe-University Frankfurt am Main, Germany interested
in conducting a web-based survey about motivation and
socio-demographic background of OpenStreetMap-users
participating in Humanitarian OpenStreetMap Team tasks. We want
to find out whether Humanitarian OpenSteetMap Team works as
'door-opener' for people previously not involved in
OpenStreetMap or cartographic activities.</p>
<p>So your participation in our survey regardless of whether you
participate only once or do contribute frequently is valuable
for us.</p>
<p>Your profile has been selected by us through random sampling of
the listed profiles within the Humanitarian OpenStreetMap
Tasking Manager and any answer you might enter can't be linked
to your OpenStreetMap profile.</p>
<p>The questionnaire has been created using Limesurvey and is
hosted on <a href="http://geomedienlabor.de" target="_blank">geomedienlabor.de</a>, a website which is under
responsibility of our lecturer David Burger ( (<a rel="nofollow" href="mailto:burger@geo.uni-frankfurt.de" target="_blank">burger@geo.uni-frankfurt.de</a>
, <a rel="nofollow" href="https://www.uni-frankfurt.de/48331501/01_portrait" target="_blank">https://www.uni-frankfurt.de/48331501/01_portrait</a>).
It contains 32 questions and takes about 15 minutes to answer.
If you want to participate use this URL: <a rel="nofollow" href="http://umfrage.geomedienlabor.de/limesurvey/index.php/113125/lang-en" target="_blank">http://umfrage.geomedienlabor.de/limesurvey/index.php/113125/lang-en</a></p>
<p>All answers you provide are completely anonymous. No personally
identifiable information is captured unless you voluntarily
offer personal or contact information in any of the comment
fields.</p>
<p>Since this survey is the centerpiece of our course 'Conception
of Quantitative Research: Volunteered Geographic Information' it
would be very helpful if you find some time to answer it.</p>
<p>Please feel free to contact us (<a rel="nofollow" href="mailto:Hot.survey@stud.uni-frankfurt.de" target="_blank">Hot.survey@stud.uni-frankfurt.de</a>)
via E-Mail for any questions or concerns about this survey, the
questionnaire or the motivation of our research.</p>
<p>Best regards,</p>
<p>Simon Köbel, Dominik Wehner, Lucas Wenzel and Fabian Will</p>
