I don't think anyone has converted the TIGER shapefiles en masse yet. Do you need the data right now? If not, let's start talking about how we can convert the 2010 TIGER data once it comes out. Tim Trainor (of the Census Bureau) has mentioned several times that the 2010 data is quite a bit better than 2009.<div>

I looked at the wiki pages for ogr2osm and shp2osm (+ogr2ogr) and it seems it will be somewhat involved to get either solution working on Windows.<br>

Is there a repository somewhere of TIGER09 data that has already been converted to .osm format? I'm looking specifically for southern CA (counties of LA, Orange, San Bernardino, Riverside, San Diego, Kern, Ventura, Santa Barbara, SLO, etc.).<br>
