Hi,<br><br>I discussed this with the local community and finally we changed the followings on the new release of CLC data:<br>- completely remove tag CLC:code (because of redundance)<br>- completely remove tag CLC:surfaceoverlay (meaningless, it isn't in the original tag, just accidentaly added)<br>
- replace source tag from the long "© EEA, Koppenhága (2009); Készítette a FÖMI a KvVM megbízásából (2009)" to "CLC_HUN"<br><br>About
CLC:id: We keep them because of the easier update and indentification
later. It is not much work to delete them in a batch.<br>
<br>I already added the old copyright notes to our local CLC import page
on Wiki, but as I read your advice, I will add to the contributors,
too.<br><br>Jaak, our community already decided we will go through the
import. We think, nobody never should to say "a map is complete",
because you will always could make corrections, additional infos, POIs,
etc... But if somebody sees our map and doesn't see anything just a huge
white map, he/she won't take it seriously.<br>
<br>Another viewpoint: If there is nothing on the map, I have to draw
everything from the begining. It is so much, I rather search another map
with lesser work.<br><br>To not to discourage the newbies is a bad
cause. If we don't do difficult things, we don't have any relations at
all, not just landuse, but public transports, and so on...<br>
I think a certain quality could come from hard-working importers who fit
the incorrect raw import data to bing and makes a usable, nice map.<br><br>Laci<div class="gmail_extra"><br><br><div class="gmail_quote">2012/11/5 Paul Norman <span dir="ltr"><<a href="mailto:penorman@mac.com" target="_blank">penorman@mac.com</a>></span><br>
