<div>Hi,</div><div><br></div><div>I'm working on an import for some UK postcodes.  The import has been discussed at length on the GB-Talk mailing list, with no strong objections[1], and I have also created an import project page describing the process [2].  The scripts etc. are not up there yet, I'm still finalising them at the moment and once done they'll be up there with some sample data.</div>
<div><br></div><div>I would appreciate some feedback on what I've done so far and also some advice on how to proceed, as I am planning on running the batch towards the end of this month.</div><div><br></div><div>Since this is the first time I have tackled a bulk import, I need some assistance on a couple of things</div>
<div><br></div><div>Firstly, how to actually execute the import, I can generate whatever XML or other output that is required, but I need some advice as to what it should contain, how best to batch it up, and what the best tool to use to upload it is etc.</div>
<div><br></div><div>Secondly what sort of QA is required.  I can do some manual random QAing, and also comparing against what is already tagged in OSM.  Not sure what else is possible/required.</div><div><br></div><div>Thanks,</div>
