<p>In The Netherlands, we imported buildings and addresses from a
government data source a few years ago.<br>
</p>
<p>We have tooling that compares the Osm data for these objects to a
monthly update of the government data.</p>
<p>At the moment, the results of this comparison are used by mappers
to semi-manually add new objects, or remove old ones. Changes in
geometry (the larger ones) are updated sporadically.</p>
<p>One user keeps track of updates of place and municipality borders
(and names of course).<br>
