<div dir="ltr">Hi Arthur,<div><br></div><div>That's wonderful. The reason I proposed to make a screencast, is because I think you'll find JOSM's PT_Assistant to be a great help for adding those ways to the route relations and even to add those stop_position nodes near the start and end stops (it will split ways automatically where needed).</div><div><br></div><div>Cheers,</div><div><br></div><div>Jo</div></div><br><div class="gmail_quote"><div dir="ltr" class="gmail_attr">On Sat, Feb 9, 2019 at 9:33 PM Arthur Dolmajian <<a href="mailto:arthur.dolmajian@gmail.com">arthur.dolmajian@gmail.com</a>> wrote:<br></div><blockquote class="gmail_quote" style="margin:0px 0px 0px 0.8ex;border-left:1px solid rgb(204,204,204);padding-left:1ex"><div dir="ltr">You are right, it is route relations with only nodes, I will update the wiki so it is more clear. I figured it would be too risky to try and automate adding the ways as well, especially around junctions. Plus. there is the issue of certain ways not being split at every possible intersection which would've also caused problems. Myself, and a couple of other volunteers will add them in manually once I do this import. The script also generates all the routes as LineString GeoJSON that can be used as background/reference layer in JOSM for adding the ways.<br><br>Knowing the network, I'm fairly certain there are no telescopic itineraries, just 2 different directions for each route that might have variations with 1 or 2 stop differences, but I will double check.<br><br>The stops are placed on either side of the road as they appear in the GTFS dataset. I've attached a screenshot of what tags they get.
