<div dir="ltr">Dear Ethiopian OSM community, Dear Imports Team,<div><br></div><div>I am representing BAME PLC from Ethiopia (<a href="http://www.addismap.com/bandira">www.addismap.com/bandira</a>)</div><div>Our team gathered around 36000 points of interest in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, which we would like to import in the near future to OpenStreetMap. The data was gathered between 2010-2016, so it is not that recent, but still considered valuable.<br></div><div><br></div><div>The data is already tagged in OSM format. It's many small kiosks ("souks"), but also hotels and cafes and so on which are currently not on OpenStreetMap.</div><div><br></div><div>It's only node data - We believe - after a short check - that overlap with existing features is not that large.</div><div><br></div><div>One approach to import the data would be to merge the OSM file we have with the OSM data, do some basic duplication checks and then upload with a dedicated OSM user.</div><div>The check_date would be set to 2016-01-01 or something like that in order to allow easier quality checks via apps like StreetComplete on the ground.<br></div><div><br></div><div>Do you have any further advice on how to proceed here?<br></div><div><br></div><div>Kind regards,</div><div>Alexander</div><div><br></div></div>
