That is my assumption. You know about the "whose node is it" question,<br>
so there will always be people arguing that the PD node I placed is<br>

safely be ignored.<br></blockquote></div><br>It is very unlikely that a single node will represent enought creative work to be copyrightable under any jurisdiction.<br><br>Under EU law, it is also unlikely that the entire OSM database is copyrightable, but that database laws applies.<br>
