Hi.

What is the best way to contribute code.

I have some one liners that I would like to contribute, what is the
best way?

I have made a git clone then I have made a local branch (named jarl)
on which I have made the changes.

I suggest that I do a
$ git checkout jarl
$ git format-patch master

then email these files o nthis mailing list.

I would really like my commit ids (hash values) to be used when
merging into the official git repository, because that will save me
from conflicts later when I do a git pull.
