Hello.. totally not on topic, but I thought I would just let you know 
anyways...

There is a talk-ca mailing list that was recently created. I see that 
you are looking for traces in Ontario so I figured you would be 
interested in the talk-ca mailing list as well.

Now to answer your question:

You are only searching based on tags. The url you provided wont find my 
traces, even though they appear in Ontario, because I didn't tag them 
with the keyword "ontario".

As far as I know there is no way to search for traces based on lat/long. 
Only tags.
