[OSM-newbies] Export Question

I'm not an expert on the use of XAPI, but my understanding is that you  
can use the XAPI to request everything within a bounding box (even one  
large enough to cover the entire UK) which has amenity=fast_food and  
name=KFC.  Like this:

  http://www.informationfreeway.org/api/0.6/node[amenity=fast_food] 
[name=KFC]
