</div>I've had to do this occasionally and the way I do it now is to<br>
select the two nodes where I want to cut (by clicking on the first<br>
and I think shift-clicking on the second, though do it without<br>
thinking now so am not sure) and pressing P (again if I remember<br>
correctly) to cut the way into three. I then click on the middle<br>
section to select it. Oh - this in JOSM.<br>
