<table cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" border="0" ><tr><td valign="top" style="font: inherit;">As I understand it:<br><br>Only one node at the end of a road (without a loop) should be tagged with highway=turning_circle<span style="font-family: monospace;"><br><br></span>This tag usually renders as a circular blob (for want of a better word) on the end of the road. I don't think the tag is intended for applying to lots of nodes around a looped way. No extra tagging beyond highway=residential should be needed in this case, except perhaps for oneway=yes if applicable.<br><pre><br>highway=turning_circle is for roads that have a circular open area at the end for turning.
