addr:country takes a two letter country code, the UK is GB Canada is CA. If I enter en3 6rg,gb I get the same search result as EN3 6RG,GB so it appears the search is not case sensitive.

The UK has the same format for the postcode as Canada yet the search works with a space in the UK postcode but not in the Canadian one. Whom should I take this up with? Who is responsible for postcode formats?

Current database of the Nominatim search is from March 2nd (See top
I guess you are referring to
http://www.openstreetmap.org/browse/node/597832654 though which is an
older entry. When I search in Nominatim for "K1E3P6, Canada" I get a
result and it looks like the correct location for me. Keep in mind that
"ca" is not a country name.
