<DIV>In my view the reaction of the board does place not much trust on the
current members. If the action by a company is threatning the working of the
Foundation (which almost anyone including the board doubts), it is up to the
membership to act responsibly on that. There is no need to take additional
action. I see so many wise reations that I can hardly imagine that the current
group of people will be overrun by 50 or so other members who could act in a
coordinated way. </DIV>

<DIV>On the thirty day issue: I became a member on one of the SotM’s and was
immediately able to join the voting. It would have been strange if you had to
wait a year effectively before you can join important votings and only join the
discussions.</DIV>

can only agree with all that was said before. There is nothing against these
people joining NOW in the current AoA. Any delay would be against elementary
democratic principles and an abuse of the board
