Frederik, that explanation/summary is very good and I imagine
helpful to many people.
Would it be appropriate to have it linked to from the wiki page or
somewhere?
Or perhaps that is not allowed, as sometimes you have to stick to
what has been announced as the vote question/description.
If your question is
"Can corporate entities become members of the OSMF?"
then the answer is
1. Corporate entities could become full members; this was possible ever
since the OSMF was created. The Companies Act doesn't limit membership
to natural persons. However, we're not planning to admit corporate full
members.
2. Corporate entities can become associate members and we are planning
to admit them.
3. Corporate members do not have the right to vote at a general meeting
(section 75(3)).
4. If 75% of voters support agenda item 7, then section 75(3) will be
removed, and corporate members will have the right to vote.
Therefore
* if you are against corporate members altogether, you would have to
vote against the new AoA;
* if you accept corporate members but do not wish them the have voting
rights, you would vote for the AoA but against agenda item 7;
* if you accept corporate members and want them to have voting rights,
then you would vote for the AoA and also for agenda item 7.

Frederik
