<div id="yiv0304251431yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1467711027145_340603" dir="ltr">The topic of software use within the Foundation comes up from time to time, and early this year we flagged this as a useful piece of work for the Board to take up. At the in person meeting
in Amsterdam, a few of us found a little time to produce a draft, and since then we've received feedback from working groups and revised. The intention is to guide, but not mandate, software choices, balancing our values of openness and do-ocracy.</div>
