<div dir="ltr">Similar case in the Africa/Sub-Sahara region, it's close to midnight during the OSMF Monthly meeting, but of late, i have only missed two consecutive monthly meetings in the last two months, have been listening in on a couple before missing those two. <div><br></div><div>Nice efforts by Dorothea and the OSMF to share minutes for members to catch up. IIRC the meetings are recorded for internal note taking purposes. One <br>
intermediate option is to pay someone to transcribe them, and publish <br>
the transcripts, rather than the actual audio.<br>

There are plenty of services for transcriptions (e.g. charging $1 per <br>
minute), and we have oodles of pineapple fund money. As well as helping <br>
people in different timezone to me, it would be useful for deaf people, <br>
or those without great English listening skills, and open the <br>
possibility to translate the transcripts into other languages, something <br>
harder with just the audio.<br>
<br>
We could throw money at the problem today and try it out? For <$500 we <br>
could try this for 4-6 months?<br>
