LoRa is for devices so power saving, that they would require battery replacement, not because they've used all the energy stored in battery, but because batteries will degrade from age.<br></div>Now on eBikes, you get batteries so powerful you can power off some cell towers, and you recharge them every day/ Why you need LoRa? Use standard 3G/4G/LTE with available modules, high speed, on chip GPS/GLONASS support. I used Mobike in a city in Germany while on holiday. It informs
the central server where it is parked, if it is serviceable, if it
is broken what is broken, etc.<br>

What is a bit frustrating about Mobike is that one can park it
only in a certain area at city center. <br>
