I'm wholehearted in favour of this way forward. I agree that the<br>
checkbox was well intended, but it serves no practical purpose and is,<br>
at best, misleading both for the person signing up, and also anyone<br>
who wants to rely on it for any reason.<br>

I'd be happy to see a Board agreement to remove it from the website.<br>
