        to be engaged in the process somehow since it will become the
        repository of institutional memory (and with luck will
        eventually get around to updating the wiki so the procedures for
        becoming a local chapter are clearer ;-)</font></p>

            process, but I believe they (or "we", since I'm a member)
            prefer to get involved BEFORE any bylaws are written, rather
