typically there has always been at least one other US citizen as a <br>

Germans have also been well represented with at least one German <br>
national always being present (though currently we have a peak).<br>

are several candidates who are neither American citizens or residents 
nor European citizens or residents. And I would love to see continents 
other than Europe and America more represented in the board than they
