If we could get away from Paypal I'd be more
 than happy.<br>
<br>
When paying European invoices I just put the reference number on the 
payment that goes directly to their bank.  That way I don't pay an 
inflated exchange rate to paypal.<br>
<br>
I note that donations are accepted by bank transfers.

for the update. We've had similar issues with CiviCRM in the past 
affecting our elections due to bugs like this w/ 3rd party

never had a problem with paypal and OSM using different email<br>addresses.
 One just switches to the other and neither need to know the<br>other 
email address.<br><br>I do find that I have a paypal account, which is 
no use to me beyond<br>OSM and do wish we used something more common

Generally speaking there are two parts to a 
system.  The first is defining the requirements and you don't need 
professional technical expertise to do this and then implementing them 
for which you do need technical expertise.<br>

I suspect Paypal only works easily for members who use the same email 
address for paypal and OSM.<br>
