[Potlatch-dev] Internationalisation

Hi!

As some folks have mentioned it in the Wiki enhancements page, I'd like to
bring up the topic of internationalization/translation in other languages.

I believe that this topic should be approached early. It does not only
concern the texts within P2, but also those used in presets. While creating
my own spezialized set of presets and style, I noted that some parts are
currently not easily translated as texts are both used as keys for
references and shown to the user directly. Getting I18N there will likely
require a structural change in the presets, so it should best be solved
before we have too many presets that would need to be changed.

Currently I am not aware of any I18N concepts. Do you have them in the
pipeline? I'd like to help actively with discussion and testing of
translations. My P2 instance would fit its surroundings much better if it
would talk German. :-)
