<p>I've fixed the export bug and global scope pollution.</p>

<p>I've also added some Capybara-based integration tests that would have caught the export bug. I really like the Capybara DSL for writing integration tests but feel free to leave that out of the merge if it's not your cup of tea. At the least it probably requires some additional support on the CI server.</p>
