<p>This will be a two-fer - permalink should move to the left of the layers dialog and be turned into an icon with a more user-friendly text field where you can copy & paste the url rather than 'going to it', and in the space left there, the default attribution.</p>

<p>People expect attribution on the map in roughly that spot, and this makes the transition between the main Mapnik layer and the other layers clearer.</p>
