<p>In some areas it can take a while to fetch and parse all the data when using the data overlay. Pressing the "Hide areas" button can lead to the same delay happening again, while the data is re-downloaded and re-parsed.</p>

<p>However, the API call is just the same as before, so it shouldn't be necessary. The Hide Areas button should simply turn off the unwanted features using the existing data layer.</p>
