<p><a href="https://github.com/openstreetmap/openstreetmap-website/commit/b1308a87be1aaa0c6e5fd27e0635ef22b76e8081" class="commit-link"><tt>b1308a8</tt></a> introduced polygon outlines for results returned from Nominatim.</p>
<p>This is a nifty feature but at a (default) stroke opacity of 0.5, the polygon obscures detail and makes the map difficult to read. An opacity of 0.2 or even 0.1, with no fill, would be clearer.</p>
<p>Incidentally, in javascripts/map.js.erb, the strokeColor, strokeWidth, strokeOpacity and pointRadius properties look more like OL than Leaflet properties and <a href="https://github.com/openstreetmap/openstreetmap-website/pull/121/files#L16R128">https://github.com/openstreetmap/openstreetmap-website/pull/121/files#L16R128</a> suggests that they are left over from OL days.</p>
