<p>Is there a reason why the ordering #zoom/lon/lat has been chosen? I'd have thought that #lat/lon/zoom would be preferable, as it would make sense to allow the omission of zoom (and the system can choose an appropriate default) but not the omission of either lat or lon. Also the current query string based implementation has the ordering lat, lon, zoom when a permalink is created, and this ordering is also used by Google and Bing maps.</p>
