<p>Clicking a result from the search sidebar adds a highlight for the geometry returned by Nominatim.</p>

<p>Previously one could get rid of this by clicking the View tab. This doesn't work with the new always-updated location.</p>

<p><a href="https://github.com/tomhughes" class="user-mention">@tomhughes</a> has suggested that closing the search results sidebar should remove the highlight, and I'd agree with that.</p>
