<p>Some thoughts:</p>

<ul>
<li>"Results from OpenStreetMap Nominatim" is hard to distinguish from actual results. Suggestion: combine "Search Results // Results from OpenStreetMap Nominatim" to <code><h2>Search Results (OpenStreetMap Nominatim)</h2></code> (and similar for GeoNames).</li>
<li>The gray font color of "GPS Traces" … "Sign Up" conveys that those links are disabled</li>
<li>Search results cannot be closed (as already mentioned)</li>
