<p>So the issue that because the object is left in the link (see <a href="https://github.com/openstreetmap/openstreetmap-website/issues/616" class="issue-link" title="Embed HTML when called from /way/<id> page includes /way/<id> in View Larger Map url">#616</a>) there is a conflict when you visit the URL between whether to view the object or the marker, and currently the object wins because the controller redirects to the object view when it sees the object in the link.</p>
