<p>Does this only happen on certain browsers? Only I can't reproduce your picture in Firefox even with a fairly long message.</p>

<p>It looks like Firefox is actually removing the bottoms from inside that div though, and putting them below it, or at least that's what it looks like in Firebug - the area reserved for the div you changed the style of is entirely above the actual buttons.</p>
