<p>The implementation has been built to reflect the "New Routing Services Guidelines" at <a href="http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Strategic_working_group/New_Routing_services_Guidelines_Proposal">http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Strategic_working_group/New_Routing_services_Guidelines_Proposal</a> , which are an adaptation of the widely-accepted and long-standing <a href="http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Strategic_working_group/New_Tile_Layer_Guidelines">http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Strategic_working_group/New_Tile_Layer_Guidelines</a> . I guess if someone could devise a non-obtrusive UI that permitted localised routers to be included, and submitted a good-quality patch to do this, then it would be up to the relevant WG to consider revisiting these guidelines (SWG having died a largely unlamented death).</p>
