<p>I don't see why that would be - the click handler (<a href="https://github.com/openstreetmap/openstreetmap-website/blob/master/app/assets/javascripts/index/search.js#L68">https://github.com/openstreetmap/openstreetmap-website/blob/master/app/assets/javascripts/index/search.js#L68</a>) still moves the view before starting to navigate to the object link.</p>
